Fashion is a popular style as well as practice especially in clothing, footwear, accessories, makeup, body piercing, furniture, etc and it is a distinctive and often habitual trend in the style in which a person dresses. The pace of change accelerated considerably in this century and women and men’s fashion especially in the dressing and adorning of the hair has become equally complex. The fashion industry consists of four levels which includes: the production of raw materials, principally fibres as well as textiles but also leather and fur, the production of fashion goods by designers, manufacturers, contractors as well as others, retail sales and various forms of advertising and promotion.
Fashion public relations involves keeping in touch with a company’s audiences and creating strong relationships with them reaching out to media as well as initiating messages that project positive images of the company. Social media also plays an important role in modern day fashion public relations which enables practitioners to reach a wide range of consumers through various platforms. Anthropology is the study of culture and human society’s studies fashion by asking why some styles are deemed socially appropriate and a certain way is chosen and that becomes the fashion as defined by a certain people as a whole, so if a detailed style has a representation in an already occurring set of beliefs that style will become fashion. Since fakes are distinguishable by their poorer quality, there is still a demand for luxury goods and as only a trademark and a logo can be copyrighted.
